Do not react to political and emotional unfounded pressure. Continue to teach and educate our children with a trustful and unbiased perspective of our great history. Primitive cultures tear down staues of those who once reigned over them, modern intellectual cultures learn from being reminded of both the good and bad that these monuments represent. This is a slippery slope monuments and statues to Arthur Ashe and MLK may well be next as will the religious symbols in our great churches. Education and knowledge is key. Please be wise and not reactionary...there is much, much at stake.
