The only thing negative I can see about continuing education is if it is implemented badly.  AIA members already have a requirement to have continuing education and with technology constantly changing the requirement keeps us knowledgable of these technologies.

I say do it, but do it right! Consult agencies for the different professions involved and cretae guidelines and enforce them!!!
