I will obtain better engineering skills through my work environment than through mandatory education. In the past I have attended conferences/lectures and found them not to be that effective in improvig my engineering skills.  As Professional Engineers we should not have to told what we need to do to better our engineering skills.  We reached this PE status through hard work and dedication to our profession.
