As we have seen previously in Virginia and other states, these regulations are solely designed to limit a patient's access to a legal, necessary and safe procedure. Abortion is already one of the most highly regulated procedures, and rules dictating hallway widths and parking spaces are clearly designed to impose undue burdens to clinics and patients. Trust patients and their doctors to make the best medical decisions for themselves, and leave personal politics out of the exam room.
