Clinics doing outpatient surgeries are sufficiently regulated. Abortion is one of the SAFEST procedures provided in the outpatient setting. These TRAP regulations have no medical evidence behind them. How does a woman medically benefit from waiting 24hrs before they can have their abortion? You're INSULTING WOMEN'S INTELLIGENCE and saying a woman couldn't possibly make the right decision and she needs 24hrs to "think on it". I wonder what other medical procedures will require BOTH MEN AND WOMEN to "think on it" for 24hrs?! 

 

Did you know that the SAME medical procedure is performed for women who experience a miscarriage. DO you wish to "protect" them too and require all the same regulations to those medical offices? ALSO there are MANY medical doctors that perform abortions but are not considered an "abortion facility". AGAIN, DO you wish to require all the same regulations to those medical offices? Didn't think so. How convenient that these regulations are ONLY for "facilities". 

 

The manipulation of regulations HAVE ZERO place in medical care, PERIOD.  Medical decisions are at the purview of a patient and their medical provider. These regulations just create more harm and undue burden for women. 

 

If you don't believe in abortion, that's fine, don't have one. BUT leave those women, who are making SOUND DECISIONS for their lives, ALONE!
