I oppose the NELP portability licensure requirements. CACREP credentials were not an option at the university where I completed my education.  Being forced to get CACREP credentials for any reason would cause me extreme financial distress, while I still carry the burden of my student loan debt. 

Having one credentialling agency for all Mental Health counselors is not necessary. Please uphold all credentialing   agencies to protect students who have in good faith paid for their education and put in all of the time and effort required to become licensed.
