I do believe that creating a unified process across the nation would be a benefit to the profession.  In doing so, I would hope that there would be a way to account for those licensed professionals who did not attend a CACREP program as it would create a greater deficit in mental health access for those individuals across the nation should licensed professionals lose their licensed status due to inability to meet the newly constructed criteria.
