I have been a member of the Roanoke Valley Dental Society for 3 years since moving here from the Richmond area. I have spent 12+ years in military dentistry and 10 years in Veterans Affairs Dentistry and can certainly attest to the fact that the CE given by RVDS is equal to if not often better than that offered by the government institutions that are already accreditred sources of CE. The RVDS is an important group for local dentists here in the Roanoke Valley and their CE programs should be accredited by the VDA to help promote organized dentistry.
