I am writing in support of the Board of Dentistry sanctioning the Roanoke Valley Dental Society as a recognized sponsor for continuing education. I have been a member of the RVDS for over thirty years and would rank the quality of its monthly meetings, as to content and speakers, with any others  I have attended for specific continuing  education credit. As Roanoke is a hub for all of southwest Virginia, it would serve as a convenient and central location for many dentists in this area to acquire those credit hours necessary for license renewal.
