First of all, I strongly concur with all the previous supportive comments for CE certification for RVDS.

Let me make an additional comment. Although RVDS occasionally sponsors half/full day lectures, our main focus is providing member dentists 1-2 hour programs at our monthly meetings, i.e., 1-2 CEU.   1-2 CEU is very appropriate for our diversified group of general dentists and specialists. Depending on ones needs and interest, 1-2 CEUs on a specific topic is sufficient. These small blocks of CEU opportunities fills a niche in most dentist's overall CE exposure. RVDS, our local society, is the ideal organization to provide these small CE programs. Please consider approval of RVDS sponsored CE programs for our yearly license requirement.
