I own and run a solar installation business in Virginia. We have been in business for ten years, and we employ eight people. Our business continues to grow, and we continue to add more jobs. I ask that solar play a prominent role in the VA Energy Plan to keep our business going and our employees working.

Every solar panel installed will provide energy for decades which helps us get away from limited fossil fuels which have high financial, environmental, and political costs. I want Virginia to be moving towards the energy independence that solar energy provides.

We continue to experience the undesirable effects of climate change, and we must do what we can here at home in our state to preserve our climate. Please adopt policy that supports movement away from fossil fuels and towards solar and other renewables.
