Dry needing is acupuncture.

I came from China. I remember when I was a little boy, my grandmum always called acupuncturing dry needling. There is no doubt that dry needling is acupuncture. If allow PT to practice dry needling without an acupuncture license, that means PT can practice acupuncture. This will open a door for all other practitioners, including chiropractors, nursers, massage therapists to perform dry needling, or acupuncture without proper training and an acupuncture license, which will create great danger to the public. PT should only allowed to do dry needling with an acupuncture license. Puting an acupuncture needle into human body is performing acupuncture. It does not matter what you call it nor based on what therory.
