I strongly support  the proposed Regulations 18VAC112-20-121 for the practice of dry needling.  I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years.   I strongly believe in both acupuncture and dry needling.  They are two very distinct modalities that happen to use a similar implement.  But one has nothing to do with the other.  To deny patients dry needling by a physical therapist would be a backward step in patient care.
