Supportive of dry needling

Having had the joy of treating patients with physical dysfunction for over 40 years in several states, I realize I have had a tremendous duty to practice a standard of care that gives my best effort to those that choose to come to me for treatment.  This is not something I take lightly.  I am constantly learning skills that can help patients improve faster and more completely.  Dry needling has been a "game changer" in helping those that walk in my office.

There are many surgeries, procedures and modalities in the practice of health care that are proven to be of little help which are much more dangerous, costly and demoralizing than dry needling will ever be.  There is good research supporting dry needling and those that state otherwise have not done a complete search.

It is all about choice and all of us working together to provide the best care available to help those in need to improve their way of life.  Patients should have the choice to partipate in their healh care using dry needling should they chose to do so.  Physical Therapist with proper training have shown themselves to be well qualified in performing this modality/procedure.  The results speak volumns for those willing to listen.

Thank you for the opportunity weigh in with my opinion.
