The atmosphere and culture of nursing has changed dramatically with the infusion of technology into healthcare. The diganosis of mental health and the illegeal use of controlled substances has exponentially exploded over the past 20 years, as well. Nurses find themselves if precarious and sometimes dangerous sitations in ALL care environments. Patients DO have a right to know who is providing their care, but the protection and the safety of nurses must come first! Nurses are the first and last point of patient care in almost all healthcare settings.

"Stalking", no matter how harmless is not right! Nurses have a fundamental right to thier privacy and safety, like all citiizens.
