Absolutely agree that last names don't need to be on ID badges, patients with psychiatric or criminal backgrounds can be found on every unit, not just psychiatric. Not to mention you never know who could be walking through the doors as a visitor, in some areas staff are submitted to just as much abuse from family members and visitors as they are from confused or combative patients.
