In Favor of removing last names off of badges, I used to work in the ED where my last name was not listed but currently where I work my name is listed I feel more at risk as I have been approached by patients on social media and allot of patients will casually ask where I live, etc. I know most of the time they are being polite but you never know. We need to protect ourselves and our families and take away our last names as we never know what patients are thinking. Thank you.
