For the safety of Virginia women limit unnecessary regulation of women's health facilities and practices. Follow evidence based, scientifically proven guidelines published by the National Abortion Federation (NAF.org) when writing legislation. If safety is truely at issue then ALL medical regulations should apply to ALL medical facilities and practitioners, not solely women's health, nor specifically Family Planning services.
Policy should be medically accurate, evidence-based - and not politically nor religiously motivated. Let the experts - the doctors and researchers determine best medical practices and keep Virginian women safe.
