The rules that have been put in place for the amateur boxing program are to intense. These kids have no need for brain scans and blood work. Truly understanding the combative nature of the sport,and the need to protect the fighters, however making these kids go to those extreme test is just to much not to speak of the cost. Most of the kids in our program come from single family homes theirs no way that they would be able to afford those types of test. The test and regulations would absolutely kill Virginia amateur boxing.
