I had dry needling performed for a month by a qualified licensed Physical Therapist and it was a total waste of time and money.  In fact, the Physical Therapist caused me pain and aggravated my condition.  I found a licensed Acupuncturist who did acupuncture on me and I improved.  The few hours the Physical Therapist I saw who attended classes proved the level of training to use acupuncture needles was not adequate and caused harm. Physical Therapists should only perform physical therapy and not dry needling.
