SUPPORT DRY NEEDLING

Physical therapists are highly trained health professionals with basic knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanical knowledge that trigger point dry needling requires. The dry needling process uses appropriate patient selection, a safe and comfortable environment, proper handling of needles, extensive anatomical knowledge, and the right technique.

Dry needling is NOTHING like acupuncture except for the obvious fact of using needles.  Dry needling is "a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments".  Whereas, acupuncture is known for "balancing the flow of energy".

*****Pain and treatment is DIFFERENT for every patient, therefore they should have the right to be dry needled if proven effective for them (which it has for me). Support our Physical Therapists!
