Dry Needling is Acupuncture. It is detrimental to the public for Physical Therapist to practice Dry Needling without a  Acupuncture License. To obtain the licesure to practice acupuncture, one has to go through more than 3000 hours of education training and pass the National Certification Exams. These are the minimum compentancy for someone to practice acupuncture for the public safety. it is irresponsible to allow anyone to practice Dry Needling (Acupuncture) without sufficient training.
