It is paramount that citizens be allowed to legally carry there firearms in state forests. The founders of this state saw fit and rightlfully so, to put that right in our constitution and it is no less important today than then. The only persons that not allowing to carry would prevent are thos who would abide by the law anyway and leave them at the mercy of those who offend. the need for self defense from hoodlums and thugs does not dissapear at the border line of a state forest.
