I have read about these proposed changes and all I can do is shake my head in wonder. Why would changes be made that will make it EASIER to confuse an applicant at best, or commit VOTER FRAUD at worst?!?!? The State Board of Elections should uphold the requirement for an applicant to answer each question which helps the State Board of Elections determine if someone is qualified to legally vote. It makes perfectly good sense for an applicant to verify that they are 1) a legal US citizen, 2) have not been convicted of a felony, and 3) have not been found mentally incompetent. The current form is sufficiently clear; please don't change it!
