If I'm paying for a DOCTOR to care for my pet, then that's exactly what I expect to get! No 'basit and switch!'

I have the choice to go to a dental school if I want lower cost dental care; maybe extend this principle to vet students.  There are thousands of stray animals that end up in shelters, and this is where students should get their experience- still under expert supervision!  I would gladly pay more taxes to see better care, including mandatory spay/neuter, given to shelter animals, which woukld result in more adoptions.
