I am in full support of veterinary students being able to practice as they have been trained to do, under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian and certainly with owner consent.  This change in legislation will aid in the education of future doctors in order for them to provide better care for patients on the day they become licensed when they leave the shelter of direct supervision.
