This change will allow veterinary students to get more hands-on experience caring for animals while the safety of the animal is still assured by having a Veterinarian supervise them.  What this means for the public is that veterinarinary students, who will be your veterinarians in the future, will enter veterinary practice more prepared and ready to care for your animals.  Kudos to those that have recommended this chnage in regulations and to the the citzens of Virginia for supporting it.
