virginia Tech is allegedly behind the lack of consent if a student practices on animals without supervision.  I believe this exhibits a serious lack of ethics. Thankfully I live close enough to NC that Ican take my animals to NC and I will if I cannot use a Vet in VA with the expectation of transparency and informed consent.  

Virginia Tech Vet school has a very tarnished reputation due to issues involving lack of supervision, lack of transparency, and the willingness to not follow sound practice guidelines involving informed consent. Hopefully they will dventually strengthen their program,
