I support the movement to require Virginia Tech veterinarians to always notify animal owners of intent to use undergraduate veterinary students to diagnose or treat the animal.  After having experienced issues of not being notified in advance of the practice of using students to both diagnose on one occasion and actually treat on another occasion (both very unpleasant experiences), I chose to stop using their services.  People should have the option of choosing the level of care for their animals
