The following comment expresses my personal veiws. (In a previous posting I wrote on behalf of the Alexandria City School Board's TAG Advisory Committee, which I currently chair.)

As a parent of one gifted child and one twice-exceptional child, an active PTA member and a tutor who has worked with children having a broad range of needs, I urgently support the recommendations of the VAG regarding the proposed revisions to the gifted education regulations.  I also personally support the recommendations adopted unanimously by the Alexandria City School Board and its TAG Advisory Committee, previously posted on this town hall on 9/9/08.
