Please do not contribute to the "dumbing down" of American education by accepting the revisions for gifted ed. If revisions are accepted, the consequneces are far- reaching- as the entire US will be watching and follow-suit in axing support for special needs/gifted students. With no accountability from the State, each locality can easily decrease funding for its program. With a crying need for highly qualified engineers to help boost a sagging economy, I see gifted ed as a high priority for all counties and states.

Please consider putting the gifted education program as a priority item
