Undue Health Center Regulations Placed upon Planned Parenthood Providers

These regulations are unnecessary and place an undue burden on the medical provider and the patients who is seeking a legal and safe procedure. The requirements for clinic buildings are unrelated to the services that clinics provide, thus making them completely discriminatory against women. They need accessible and affordable reproductive care - access to contraception and first trimester abortions, if they so choose this option. The regulations the state is imposing on these providers will in no way enhance the services that they have been providing up to this point. They are simply a means for the state to curtail health care to women, especially those who live on the margins and don't have health insurance. The state and those who support such regulations are merely contributing to the discriminiation of women and are interfering with their well being. These  centers have provided some of the highest quality of medical care and they should not only be allowed to do so, but encouraged and applauded for the contributions they are making to womens' lives. Thank you Planned Parenthood for all you do. I will always support your efforts to provide care and education to women about their reproductive health care choices.
