Religious and Political Motivations

In a country where one is free to practice whatever religion one chooses, it disappoints me that many of our politicians base their agendas around their own religious beliefs and those of their constituents in order to gain votes (i.e. to keep their jobs).  It may be in their own personal morality to do such things, but inevitably their religion is directly dictating the lives of others through legislation (others who may not subscribe to those lawmakers' religions).  They purposefully push their religious beliefs on others under the guise of regulatory necessity in order to disuade women from practicing their freedom of choice.  This is becoming an all too common and extremely oppressive scenario.

TRAP laws are enacted solely to burden clinics with expensive mandates in the hopes that said clinics will forgo their abortion services because they simply cannot afford to do that business anymore.  The reality is that abortions are already regulated and very safe.  Further legislation on abortion clinics is completely unnecessary and burdensome.  It's a clear indication that women's rights are being threatened.

I am 100% AGAINST any further regulations on abortion clinics in that such regulations are a veiled attempt at extracting what precious little freedoms we as individuals have left.
