I STRONGLY SUPPORT the clinic safety bill that was passed and signed by Governor McDonnell. Prior to that, surgical abortion clinics had low regulation, like vet offices. Women have died in Virginia abortion clinics and it is telling that when there is a problem, they have to call 911 because surgical abortion clinics have no equipment for life-saving.

 All surgical clinics must have hospital-level standards, to protect the lives of Virginia residents.
