Unacceptable

I have read a few of the comments regarding these new regulations. I have read for both sides, those that are for and those that oppose. It seems to me all those that are for make it a more religious issue then a rights issue. Ive seen those that say a fetus has rights to life and is a human and those rights should be protected under the law. However, a fetus is not seen as a person in the eyse of the law because it can not sustain life outside the mothers body. The fetus is only able to survive because of the mother herself, by forcing a woman to carry a fetus to term against her will you are violating her body and you are violating her rights. No law maker or state owns the people that are in it, they do not own a womans body they do not control it. A body is her own as are the rights as what to do with it including reproductive issues. By putting all of these restrictions into effect you are saying that you own and control and womans body and have the right to tell her how to handle and what to do with it. No woman should have to give up the right to her body. You may not see it as giving up rights since your not techinically making it illegal, but essentially by making it harder for a woman to find a safe place to get a procedure done you are in all effect taking her rights slowly away. You may not agree with abortion and that is fine, that is your choice to do so, but as your choice is respected so should the choices of those that agree that a womans body is her own and she should have control over it. These laws arent made by people who care about womens health they are made by those who disagree with abortion and want to make it as difficult as possible for those to against their own personal beliefs. What you did was find a loophole, a way to go around the system and push your personal beliefs on the people. I thought government was suppose to be FOR the people...and yet youre making it harder for every woman out there instead. Complete political dissapointment.
