After reviewing key proposal issues, I do not agree with what is being suggested for change.  I think that the changes seriously compromise the way a gifted child is taught.  We need schools like ODC and Kemps Landing for these children and I have confidence in the way they are being taught right now.  I do not think the size of the VA Beach School System is being adequately taken into consideration.  The gifted programs service thousands of children every year and I think that the testing set in place right now is done in an efficient manner as to identify and service all these children.

So, please do not vote for these new regulations.
