I am speechless concerning the comments about abortion coming from the VA House. To call abortion a "lifestyle choice" and to indicate that vaginal ultrasounds are somehow inconsequential because they come after sex (assuming that sex was consentual) shows a complete lack of disregard for the realities thousands of women in the Commonwealth. 

I would like to know how many of the Delegates have experienced an unintended pregancy and/or an internal ultrasound. I can take a guess: very few. The flippant views of some members of the House, as well as the overall intrusion of rights that the bill will enforce is an assault to my freedoms as a woman, not to mention an undue burden on healthcare providers and an unnessary cost on an already burdended health care system. 

Shameful. Absolutely shameful.
