Please do not accept the proposed changes in the gifted program. As a parent  (of two "twenty-somethings") and teacher I know that the GT program in Halifax County challenges the students and keeps them actively engaged and responsible for their learning. The proposed changes will negatively affect the program, not only in Halifax County, but in other school districts with like demographics.
