I urge our officials to support Gifted Education in Virginia to the fullest extent possible, by rejecting these proposed changes.  The strides that have been made in identifying, supporting, and funding the gifted population and their value to school districts throughout Virginia will be compromised if these new regulations are set in motion.

It is a shared fear that if the commonwealth of Virginia fails to protect Gifted funding, the districts could decide to reallocate funds across their portfolio.  This will endanger gifted education programs throughout Virginia.

Please, continue to set the quality of a Virginia education apart by rejecting the proposed changes to Gifted Education.
