Abortion is a legal medical procedure in the US .  It has been a very safe procedure that has saved the lives of many women by removing it from the underground.  It is protected by the privacy laws of the doctor patient relationship. The continued promulagation of unwarrented regulations such as proposed by TRAP and testing such as ultrasound are a form of legislative harrassment and interfernece in the doctor patient relationship.  Abortion is a difficult private decision that does not belong to politicians. There already exist adequate regulations to protect the safety and quality of care delivered in women's clinics.
