I am concerned over the recent proposal of new regulations for clinics in Virginia which provide women's health services.  They threaten to be an insurmountable obstacle to the clinics, causing them to close.  This will adversely affect women's health and end up being a greater cost to the government when they end up in emergency rooms for accute conditions that could have been avoided had the clinics remained open and available to them.  Besides abortions, these clinics provide so many more services to women that improve their health and their lives.  Please consider women's health in these regulations and only approve those that are proven effective medically.
