Please vote against the proposed changes ... it is mandatory for our schools that gifted students receive the best possible education, because these students represent the standard of excellence that our schools should strive for constantly.  If schools don't  fully support gifted programs in a way that understands the specific needs of these students, the schools risk losing the momentum of their best and brightest, the students who exemplify the best of public education.
