School divisions are struggling to cope with major cuts in funding, with more cuts on the way, while costs continue to skyrocket, and the state continues to pile un-funded mandate upon un-funded mandate. Add to this the NCLB un-funded mandates, and the burden becomes unsupportable.

Any changes to be made need to be accompanied by appropriate funding in order to be able to make them a reality.
