I fear that greater restrictions will have an adverse impact on social equity with regard to the ability of various groups of citizens to vote.  In particular, I worry that some minority, low-income, disabled, and/or young voters could be left out of the democratic process through this action.  There appears to be an element of politics and exclusion involved here.  There is no room for this in our system where social equity and voting rights deserve protection.
