Please do not enact the changes as written by the Virginia DOE at this time. 

The different educational needs of the gifted student population are well documented and researched.  The manner in which the Commonwealth of Virginia addresses the needs of the gifted population must be as clearly funded and regulated as those of other special needs students in Virginia's public schools.
