Carry permit for camping

I have been an avid camper for more then 25 years and I also have a concealled weapon permit. Virginia being the best of all the states to camp in where it has so much to offer from ocean, rivers, and mountains. When we first started camping one of the first things that happened to us was a nock down domestic fight. My three children, wife and myself felt very uneasy during the pot and pan session of the fight. After that I fell that protection for my family should come first. I have hunted for over 50 years and am now a 4-H shooting instructor teaching children from ages 9 to 17 the proper way to handle guns. I think what I have said about protecting yourself in self-defense should be enough to past this amendment for Virginia state forest and parks.
