Please give serious consideration to the adoption of allowing law abiding citizens the right to carry within the Va State Park system.  Those who have taken the time, energy and cost of legally being able to carry (concealed) are not the criminal type.  The state parks are overall a very safe place.  But as we have recently seen both near Va Tech and more recently on the parkway, the parks are not totally "safe".  Wild animals not excluded.  The citizens of the Commonwealth deserve the right to self protection.  The rangers do an excellent job, but we cannot carry one in our back pocket.
