I would respectfully request that the Virginia department of Forestry revise the Regulation 4VAC10-30-170, which would allow concealed carry permit holders the ability to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense in Virginia's state forests.  We who are concealed carry permit holders go to great lengths to comply with state law in order to carry a weapon. I feel that we are a group who will only add the the level of safety and security in Virginia's forests.
