I would like to voice my support for allowing concealed carry of firearms in Virginia state forrests. As a holder of a Virginia concealed handgun permit I have undergone a detailed and in depth background investigation. I have had the state police verify that I am a safe responsible citizen. My fellow permit holders and I are very conscious about gun safety and are model citizens. Allowing us to carry our legal handguns would not increase safety concerns it would bring additional safety to the forrest. I hope that this agency shows the second ammendment to the constitution the respect it deserves and chooses to allow concealed carry in the state forrest. Thanks for your time.
