Dear Sirs,

For the last 40 years I have injoyed the Virginia bounty that God has given us the pleasure of using. Because of the hard work that you and ALL the state workers have done to maintain and improve these lands, I pray they will be around until the Lord comes to reclaim them. I was in law enforcement for thirty years, and know that the parks have gotten better while mankind has gotten worse. The parks have provided a refuge for those families that may not be able to afford a Holiday Inn at the beach. PLEASE don't allow them to be hunting grounds for predators of children, joggers and those Virginians that only see the good in mankind. Our Rangers,deputies and State Police do an outstanding job, but they cannot be everywhere. Please give the mothers and fathers of this great State the right to protect that they cherish the most.
